Background

SuperBrawl is WIW's flagship pay-per-view (PPV) event, having first been held in 1999 (than known as Wrestlepalooza). It was the company's first PPV produced and was also the company's first major event available via livestreaming when WIW began using that broadcasting outlet in 2014. It is the longest-running professional wrestling event in history and is held annually between mid-March to mid-April. Along with World War, SummerBash, Soul Survivor, and Money in the Bank, it is one of the company's five biggest events of the year, referred to as the "Big Five". SuperBrawl is ranked the sixth-most valuable sports brand in the world by Forbes, and has been described as the Super Bowl of sports entertainment. Much like the Super Bowl, cities bid for the right to host the year's edition of SuperBrawl. SuperBrawl XV will feature wrestlers from the Rage and ShowDown brand divisions. In addition to airing on traditional PPV.

Tickets for the event went on sale on August 12, 2022. WIW also announced that SuperBrawl Priority Passes would be available beginning July 22. These passes include premier seating, a dedicated stadium entrance, premium hospitality offerings, and meet-and-greets with current WIW wrestlers and legends.

Other SuperBrawl Week events

As part of the SuperBrawl festivities during the week of the event, WIW will hold a number of events throughout the week. The night before Super Brawl XV on March 31, WIW will kick off SuperBrawl Weekend with a special "SuperBrawl Edition" of ShowDown. Immediately after ShowDown, the 2023 WIW Hall of Fame induction ceremony will commence. The day of SuperBrawl Saturday, WIW's NGW brand will hold its annual SuperBrawl Week event, NGW Rise & Extricate. SuperBrawl Week will conclude with the Rage after SuperBrawl on April 3. All of these events will be held live at the Majestic.com Arena in Downtown East of Helena

Storylines

The event will include an unknown number of matches that each result from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portray heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. Results are predetermined by WIW's writers on the Rage and ShowDown brands, while storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage and Friday Night ShowDown (which means to Friday's when the PPVs are are Saturdays).
