Fast Lane is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by IWE. It will take place on February 22, 2015 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. It will be the first IWE Fast Lane event, replacing the Elimination Chamber event.

Background

Main article: Professional wrestling

Fast Lane will feature professional wrestling matches that involve wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on IWE television. Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.

On January 25, during the Royal Rumble post-show, Rusev interrupted Dustin Simpson's interview and the two shoved each other. On January 26, it was announced on IWE.com that Rusev will defend the IWE United States Championship against Simpson at the event.

On the January 29 episode of SmackDown, it was announced that Nikki Bella will defend her Divas Championship against Paige at the event.

On the February 2nd episode of Raw, Roman Reigns was manipulated by The Authority to agree to defend his #1 contendership that he earned at the Royal Rumble event in a match at the Fastlane event. Later that night, Kody Brown defeated Seth Rollins to earn the right to face Reigns.

On November 23, during the main event of Survivor Series, Sting made his first-ever appearance in a IWE ring by attacking Triple K with a Scorpion Death Drop and also costing Team Authority the match. On January 19, 2015, Sting made his Raw debut by appearing backstage during the main event, then walking to the stage causing a distraction and costing Authority members Big Show, Kane, and Seth Rollins their handicap match against Simpson; this win gave the recently-fired Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Erick Rowan their jobs back. On January 26, it was officially announced via IWE.com that Triple K challenged Sting to a "face-to-face" confrontation at Fastlane. On the Feburary 9th edition of Raw, Triple K again called out Sting out to accept his challenge. A group of Sting followers appeared in and around the ring, with a titantron message to Triple K that Sting had accepted the challenge.
