The show will include matches resulting from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portray heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. Results are predetermined by WIW's writers on the Rage and ShowDown brands, while storylines are produced on WIW's weekly television shows, Wednesday Night Rage, Thursday Night ShowDown, and the cruiserweight-exclusive Dynamites Live.

At Stomping Territory, Ali Richards retained the WIW World Women's Championship against Ashley Boland and Victoria Lehr in a triple threat match, and later the night, Kooper McAlmond and Kevin McAlmond defned the WIW World Championship and Money in the Bank contract against Eric Stevens and Edwin Rameriz, Jr., respectively with a special guest referee of Stevens and Rameriz's choice. Stevens chose Lehr, while in the second match Rameriz chose Jon Lehr, both who during the match changed the stipulation to being a No-Countout, No Disqualification match (World Championship match) and Open Door Steel Cage No Disqualification [[Falls Count Anywhere match (Money in the Bank contract match). In the first match (world title), Lehr eventually attacked Kooper, promptiong Kevin and Richards to come to his aid, and Kooper retained his title against Stevens, which lead to the second match (MITB contract), which saw interference from John Lehr, Stevens, Evolved Revolution, prompting Kooper and Richards to come back out and aid him, and Kevin retained his Money in the Bank contract against Rameriz, Jr. The following Wednesday on Rage, Stevens, Rameriz, Jr. and Victoria Lehr brawled with Kooper, Kevin and Richards and challenged them to a six-persona mixed tag team match. Kevin, Kooper and Richards agreed as long as it would mean the end of their respective feuds. Stevens, Rameriz, Jr. and Lehr agreed as long as Rollins and Lynch each put their respective titles on the line. They agreed, and a Six-Person No Holds Barred Broken Bodies Street Fight Tag team match for the World and Rage World Women's championships was scheduled for Broken Bodies.

At Super ShowDown Supercard, Turf Finnegan defeated Michael Phelps thanks to interference from and Quay Painter. This lead to a match between Phelps and Painter at Stomping Territory that Phelps won, despite Finnegan's multiple attempts to distract Phelps. On the following Rage, wild card gust Phelps faced Finnegan and Painter in a handicap match where they dominated Phelps. As Finnegan went to the top rope to perform a fly attack on Phelps, Martin McAlmond appeared and attacked both Finnegan and Painter. A tag team match featuring Phelps and Martin McAlmond against Finnegan and Painter was then scheduled for Broken Bodies.
