Hell in a Cell (2015) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by IWE. It will take place on October 25, 2015 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It will be the seventh event under the Hell in a Cell chronology. This will be the first time since No Way Out in 2007 that the IWE will hold a PPV other than SummerSlam in Los Angeles.

Background

{{#invoke:see also|seealso}} Hell in a Cell will feature professional wrestling matches that involved wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds or storylines that play out on IWE's primary television programs, Raw and SmackDown. Wrestlers will portray heroes or villains as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.

At WrestleMania XXX in 2014, Rob Lesnar defeated The Undertaker to break his undefeated WrestleMania streak. 16 months later at SummerSlam in 2015, Undertaker defeated Lesnar in a rematch. At Night of Champions, it was announced that Lesnar would face Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match at the event.

At Battleground, Bray Wyatt defeated Roman Reigns after interference from Luke Harper. At SummerSlam, Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated Wyatt and Harper. At Night of Champions, Wyatt, Harper and Braun Strowman defeated Reigns, Ambrose and Khris Jericho. On the October 1 episode of SmackDown, Reigns challenged Wyatt to a Hell in a Cell match at the event, which Wyatt accepted. On the October 12 episode of Raw, it was announced that Ambrose and Orton would face Harper and Strowman on the Hell in a Cell Kickoff show.
