Concussion: Four Year Anniversary is a professional wrestling Concussion special event produced by AEW. It will take place on October 12, 2015 at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York. It will be the fourth event under the Concussion Anniversary Show chronology.

Concussion: Four Year Anniversary will feature professional wrestling matches involving different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on AEW's television programs, Concussion. Wrestlers will portray heroes (faces) or villains (heels) as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.

The main match is scheduled to be Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins vs. Beat Down Clan (Montel Vontavious Porter, Kenny King and Low Ki) vs. Sons of Sandow (Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson and Luke Harper) vs. Switchblade Conspiracy (Dean Ambrose, Sami Callihan and Jeff Hardy) in Hardcore Elimination Gauntlet, combining various feuds into one match.

At Redemption, AEW Intercontinental Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi fought Dolph Ziggler. It was announced that the two would face off again on the Fourth Year Anniversary of Concussion this time in a non-title 30-minute Iron Man match.

At Superclash IV Alexa Bliss won both the AEW Women's United States Championship and AEW Women's Championship in a Winner Take All Ladder match, it was later announced for the Four Year Anniversary Concussion that former Women's United States Champion Kelly Kelly will face Alexa Bliss for both the Women's Championship and Women's United States Championship.

Another match scheduled for the Anniversary Show is Conor McGregor and Brock Lesnar to face off against Kevin Owens and John Cena. Leading into this match McGregor and Cena have been in a feud. At Superclash IV, Cena defeated McGregor. As Lesnar and Owens have been in a feud as well, at Redemption Lesnar faced Heyman's new client, Cena. It would later be announced that McGregor would team with Lesnar and Cena would team with Owens.

At Redemption, Batista returned to the promotion, but was interrupted by The Miz, Batista would attack the Miz. It would soon be announced that Batista would face Miz at the Third Year Anniversary show.

For months, Eve Gracie has been calling out Women's General Manager Ronda Rousey for a match. A match between the two was announced for the Concussion: Fourth Year Anniversary show in a Last Women's Standing match.

Another match announced of the event is Money in the Bank winner Goldust facing former Light Heavyweight Champion Finn Bálor.

Since returning to AEW, Chris Hero has won his matches by referee stoppage. It was revealed that Hero would face former Kings of Wrestling partner Cesaro at the event.

Another match scheduled for the event is Candice Michelle facing Layla, both Women are former Women's Champion's

This is Randy Orton's forth year with the company, it was announced that Orton will team with Legacy members Curtis Axel and returning member Ted Dibiase after Cody Rhodes would leave the group in 2015 and bring his alter ego to AEW Stardust and aligning with The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor). Legacy took this change as a low for Rhodes' Legacy and has asked for this match at the event.

On August 30, GWF would present there final pay-per-view SummerSlam, Drew Galloway defeated Cactus Jack (who was the first Hardcore Champion in GWF under his Mankind face) to retain the GWF Hardcore Championship. Galloway revealed on his twitter that he would bring the GWF hardcore Championship to AEW and defend it, it was than announced that Galloway's first title defense would be against, EC3 at the Concussion Fourth Year Anniversary event.

At the Third Year Anniversary of Concussion, Maryse defeated Tyler Breeze in a Hair vs. Hair match, In 2015, Breeze returned to the promotion joining The Dollhouse to begin a on-going feud with The Dollhouse and Elite Perfection. It was announced that a rematch would be a part of the Fourth Year Anniversary event.

At Superclash, Sami Callihan and Havok defeated Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn to win the AEW Tag Team Championship, after Bryan and Zayn had won a Tag Team gauntlet match to win the Tag Team Championship. It was announced that at the Fourth Year Anniversary of Concussion with former two-time and longest reigning World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes (Jay and Mark), The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards), The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch) and The Menagerie (AEW World Television Champion Knux and Crazzy Steve) in a Fatal four way tag team match for a future AEW Tag Team Championship shot.

Another match for the Fourth Year Anniversary show is new superstars Matt Sydal, Christian and Johnny Gargano in a Triple threat match for a future shot at Knux's AEW Television Championship.
