G19. What is the role of Pensions Trust?
A. Pensions Trust manages the day to day operations of the IBM pension plans. It carries out administrative duties on behalf of the Trustee and is also involved in the investment of member and company contributions. During the consultation period, Pensions Trust will not be able to provide information to members regarding the proposed changes; any queries about the proposals should be directed to the PCC (Pension Consultation Committee) via your representative once elected.
G20. Can I speak to someone at Pensions Trust to help me understand the proposals?
A. Full details of the proposals will be made available prior to the start of consultation on Wednesday 5th August. At that time, the wiki will be updated to include additional information, including full details of the proposed changes, member examples and detailed Q&As by plan. This will help you to understand the proposals in detail.
