Lost sword glitches

This is for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64.

First, you must unequip your sword using either the Lose your sword (early versions) or Lose your sword (all versions) glitches. Once that's done, there are many glitches you can perform:

• Without a sword, you can use items while riding Epona. The most unusal is if you Hookshot while riding her. The Hookshot will grab onto wooden things as normal, but it won't pull you to them - instead you'll 'hover' with the chain extended. While hovering, you can move through the screen as normal. If you move very far away, the chains of the Hookshot will look stretched! To escape this, get near where the Hookshot ends.

• Play the Ocarina either during the Lon Lon Jumping game or Horseback Archery. Playing different songs makes different odd effects, like purple fog or the ground disappearing!

There may be other things you can do as well, but this is just a taste of what you can do.
