Gallente ships have like the Amarr strong armor but they also have the strongest structure hitpoints making them very durable armor tankers. In terms of armament the Gallente ships favour hybrid guns (railguns and blasters) since their ships recieve bonuses to that weapon type. Many Gallente ships are specialized droneships with bonuses to drone damage, range, carrying capacity, or a combination thereof, such as the Ishkur assault ship, the Vexor class cruiser, the Ishtar heavy assault ship, and the Dominix battleship.

Gallente ships is currently the flavour of the month when it comes to ship popularity.
