Basic Information

Currently at war with Britonia and Hyksos in Carrot.
A version of Moritania, the Moritanian Empire, exists in LPW and related threads. Its current representatives are Evan, the HMMS Excelsior and crew, and the HMMS Intrepid and crew.
Military Organization
The Moritanian Armed Forces, or MAF as they are also known, are well trained and well-equipped. Their technological level is equivalent to that of today.
Army
The Army of Moritania is strong in numbers, technology, and training. The organization of the Army of Moritania is as follows:
A soldier is the basic unit of the Army of Moritania.
A fire team is made up of 4 privates and 1 corporal. (1 fire team = 5 soldiers)
A squad is made up of 8 privates, 2 corporals, and 1 sergeant. (1 squad = 11 soldiers = 2 fire teams)
A platoon is made up of 40 privates, 10 corporals, 5 sergeants, 1 Staff Sergeant, and 1 Lieutenant. (1 Platoon = 56 soldiers and 1 officer = 5 squads)
A company is made up of 80 privates, 20 corporals, 10 sergeants, 2 Staff Sergeants, 1 Master Sergeant, 2 Lieutenants, and 1 Captain. (1 Company = 113 soldiers and 3 officers = 2 platoons)
A battalion is made up of 400 privates, 100 corporals, 50 sergeants, 10 Staff Sergeants, 5 Master Sergeants, 1 First Sergeant, 10 Lieutenants, 5 Captains, 1 Major, and 1 Lieutenant Colonel. (1 Battalion = 566 soldiers and 17 officers = 5 companies)
A regiment is the standard field unit of the Army of Moritania and is made up of 800 privates, 200 corporals, 100 sergeants, 20 Staff Sergeants, 10 Master Sergeants, 2 First Sergeants, 1 Sergeant Major, 20 Lieutenants, 10 Captains, 2 Majors, 2 Lieutenant Colonels, and 1 Colonel.
