Appearance:
Johan has an angular look to him with eyes lying deep in the holes and and prominent chin. He looks a little older than he is and his eyes and hard mimic gives away the (quite correct) impression of stubbornness and determination. His broad and high body makes him looking a little like a grunt of sorts.
He also 'stares'. Into nothingness, through people, at people, there is hardly an occasion when he looks normally.

Personality:
Johan is quite quiet and composed, but generally gets along well with others as long as they can stand his quirky lack of Humor. He always is serious and doesn't appreciate jokes and 'such silliness'. Idle chatter and smalltalk is a torture to him, talking needs a purpose. That doesn't mean he wouldn't get involved in social activities.. but for him it is more of a duty in order to maintain contact and blend in. The same attitude fuels his lack of hesitation to give his honest opinion when asked, and the stone face when playing cards or taking criticism.
But he is reliable and feels obliged to keep his word and put his comfort behind other people's needs.

Background:
Johan Braun is the Son of Amon Braun who, once a Superhero, fell in the Battle against Morina while his freshly married wife was pregnant with Johan. On the one hand this did prevent his Mother form being bothered too much from the angry population... Amon Braun was one of those few without hidden identity... but on the other hand it always made her angry that the people never appreciated the supers putting their lives on the line for the well being of everyone.
She so taught Johan everything she knew and could find out about his father and the bloodline which dates back to the old middle eastern cultures like Egypt and Sumeria.
The family's Legend tells about the Storm God Enlil who founded their bloodline by lying with a Sumerian woman over 9 millennia ago. Great power over wind and storm is given to every male descendant from Enlil, and in over 360 generations those descendants have mixed and spread in the population, most of them not even aware of their heritage. But those who are aware of it often chose to live in hiding, often caught up in searching for a higher purpose in their lives and a reason why power was given to them.
Naturally Johan's ancestors were equally heroes as villains, tragic and jaunty or simple men among others. His mother urged him to keep his ability secret, since the events after her husband's death showed that at this time people start to blame and prosecute those with uncommon might once again.
Johan went to school like any normal child, ending up learning car mechanics. However he never made many friends due to his secretive ways and the fact that most of his spare time was dedicated to learning how to wield his powers... always in secret.
It is easy to suspect that Johan inherited powers once one knows about his father, so Johan doesn't mention him ever.
In a time where he wonders whether there is a purpose to live, earning for an own path, a message from Sister Celestine reached Johan. And there he is now in Houston, allegedly to check out a few job offers...

Power:
He doesn't know the fancy latin word for it, neither does he care. Wind and Storm are his power, able to create and move Air to his whim he can create truly terrifying effects.
The more intense and widespread the effect is, the more time, concentration and effort does it take however. Short blasts of wind to blow something or someone aside are easy and quick, A Tornado the epitome of his ability which takes him minutes to accomplish and leaves him too strained to try a second time, but which is well capable of destroying a small town. A Hurricane is right out of his league.
Other more tricky things are also possible. Protecting from storm or creating circular air currents around an enemy to pull the air out of his lungs and pop his eardrums... though as said, those things are a little trickier and need a lot of concentration.
He does not control lightnings or air humility... at least not directly, but can try influencing it through air movement.

Mundane Abilities:
Car mechanics and electronics; Driving; some history, especially ancient middle eastern cultures; general sportiveness; some politics.

Weaknesses:
His Power is relatively slow, fast moving targets are hard to hit with the more effective storms, and if his concentration is disrupted, so is his control over the wind. He also is physically more of a slow, strong sorts.
Also, while smart enough, he surely is no genius and can be outwitted or deceived.
