Half-Life 2 is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game and the sequel to the highly acclaimed Half-Life. It was developed by Valve Corporation and published by Sierra Entertainment (purchased by Activision, i.e. Vivendi). Half-Life 2 has frequently (via Garry's Mod) provided the setting for CivGeneral's machinima cartoons.
