She initially worked for WWE after success in the first Diva Search contest, since then she has posed for Playboy. During the WWE/DXX re-brand, Maria left the company quietly, however in May 2008 after Courtney went on maternity leave and eventually left the company itself she came back to work. She currently uses a 'Girl-Next Door' type gimmick which has elements of her dippy persona she had used before. Despite not being an in ring performer since her return Maria is widely regarded as a Diva alongside other Diva workers Charlotte Cross, Sarah Green and Ayanna Kaktus.
