Ya Chui Ri is the first model actress that has debut through the S&P label ever under management in Mentor Entertainment. In 2011 she made her debut in the ovie Pirates of the Carribbean: On Strange Tides. So far she has made no official appearances other than appearing in T.Max's come back single music video Overtime... Rain. Later that year after all filming was completed, she announced she will be going on a infinite hiatus due her studies aboard in Shanghai, China with a undergraduate degree in Social Science. Her last appearance was scheduled to be in the upcoming Hollywood movie G.I.JOE Cobra Strikes.

However in mid-October 2011 she was involved in a highly public scandal as her past partying photos were leaked online. The public gave out negative reaction and her fan club went down to eight places on the chart and her university eventually decided to take back her full year scholarship but allowing entrance. To this she announced in November that she will be completeing her final year of undergraduate course in her old university part time and devote more of her time to new roles. It was confirmed that she is currently in production of the up-coming high budget movies such as Man of Steel.
