T.Max

From Clumsy Media

Aragaki Miura (born April 18, 1982), better known by his stage name T.Max is a Japanese award winning singer and actor. Born in Hirao, Yamaguchi district of Japan, he invested a keen interest in dance and music since a young age and was well-known in the neighbourhood after winning several local competitions. Aragaki was discovered by Matina Music when he was twenty-one years old after a talent scout came across his graduation dance performance. He was trained for a period of one year and made his debut in 2004 with the best selling award winning singles album Miseinen ~ Tempted (2004).

He is the record holder of the longest winning R&B male artists on Music Station Japanese TV. His debut single Tempted in 2004 won seven award at the Year Japan Music Festival and set new records, which he still holds the title for. Just two years after his successful debut, he went on a five year hiatus, pursuing other activities in his life. It is still unknown to the public and fans of what he did during this time. During this period his company released an limited edition special album with new tracks he recorded earlier during his career. In 2008 he released a single album after a sudden announcement and went back to silence until his come-back in 2010, which received immense attention and success of sales but he finished the promotions with another round of announced hiatus.

Being dubbed as one of the most successful solo and influential male artists of all times in Japan he owns several of the most prestigeous awards including Bestselling Male Artist and Most Influenced Singer. He has published two full studio albums since the beginning of his career. Both of which peaked the sales for the year and won across all the major theme awards. Shortly after the release of his second album Heidi (2010), he announced another round of hiatus to focus on his personal life and findings. In November 2012 a return was announced and made his comeback through Raining Absence (2013).
