BWE (Backyard Wrestling Entertainment) is an independent backyard wrestling federation based in Shreveport, LA, founded in 2009 by Steven Hardy. (BWE) is widely recognized as the (WWE) of backyard wrestling. Steven Hardy the owner is focus on technical, puroresu, lucha libre and high-risk extreme spots more so then hardcore wrestling.

History
Origin
Steven Hardy, Stone Hardy & The Joker started up HWO back in 2003, after 6 years of hardcore wrestling. Steven Hardy wanted to make a change and the change he had in mind was to start up a federation of his own, so in late 2009 he started up BWE. Steven Hardy wanted BWE to be more focused on technical wrestling then hardcore wrestling, Steven Hardy wanted to add in a storyline base, so people will be more entertained.

BWE kicked off on November 9th, 2009, with a tournmant to crown the first ever BWE Champion. Jimmy Nitro defeated his brother Nitro in the opening match of the tournament, Stone Hardy defeated Criss Chaos & Steven Hardy defeated The Kid after the match, The Kid and Criss Chaos attacked Steven Hardy, and Stone Hardy & Jimmy Nitro came in for the save Steven Hardy tried to shake Jimmy Nitro's hand, and Jimmy Nitro acted as he didn't want too, so Steven Hardy hit him with his new finisher The Bang (RKO).
BWE vs. HWO
After losing to Steven Hardy in his rematch for the BWE Championship, Stone Hardy walked off looking disappointed and said he had to go back to where it all started to find him self again. Stone Hardy was then seen attacking BWE superstars costing them their matches. Stone Hardy was seen sitting in a chair with a mic at the opening of BWE AfterShock, Stone Hardy said he was here to explain his actions for the past couple of weeks. He started by saying that he is now a free agent because the night he lost to Steven was the night his contract expired. He said he decided not to sign back with BWE, He decided to take over BWE, and turn things back to the way they were, Steven Hardy's music hit and the BWE Champion makes his way to the ring. Steven Hardy grabbed a mic and stated (So, Stone you want to take over BWE. Well, you see there's one problem with that, nobody in the locker room likes you. You've been attacking them for weeks now). Stone Hardy then stated (Steven, the hardcore era is back and I'm here to destory BWE, now you can either join me or be destoryed by me. Its your choice!). The BWE locker room started to empty out, but before they could get to the ring. Stone stated that all of you guys thought I would actually come here alone. Reign and Rose then attacked the BWE Superstars they were amoung and then made there way to the ring.
