Why the Rapture will not occur on September 29

From Bubblegum Wiki

Many people who believe that the rapture will occur on September 29, 2011 because Jesus will return 7 years later ending with 2018. They have referred to Psalm 90:10 applying to the nation of Israel and that is the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah.

Again, this theory is false and is part of denominationalism. The Jewish Holidays do not apply. Jesus says to keep His commandments.

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. - Psalm 90:10

This verse is referring to a human lifespan, not the nation of Israel. A person lives up to 70 and 80 if strong in Christ. People who have pride, mischief, and wickedness will be cut off (die) and we fly away (we are taken to Heaven at the end, not before the tribulation). The nation of Israel has been done with because they reject Jesus who died on the cross for their sins. Even if the Palestinians go to the UN and demand for statehood, we should not be involved. The only way for the Jews to receive peace is through the Cross.

What is actually the Tribulation? Let's look what Jesus says in Matthew 24:21.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

The word tribulation comes from the Greek "thlipis" meaning affliction. This began in the time when Nero Caesar ordered all the Christians to be killed if they don't worship him. Jesus predicted this and it's already happening throughout the years. There is not going to be a tribulation after the rapture because it already happened.

[edit] Now what about the Rapture?

The word Rapture is not found in the bible though the word "caught up" 1 Thessalonians 4:16 is translated from the Latin Vulgate "raputo". We reject the Latin Vulgate, therefore it is a false doctrine and part of denominationalism.

Let's see what the verse really says.

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

The word "dead" is taken from Strong's Number 3498 in metaphor meaning "to destitute of a life that recognizes and is devoted to God, because given up to trespasses and sins."

This means people who died after giving their lives to Christ and have been baptized (immersed) will go to heaven.

So there you have it. No rapture. We need to stop relying on the media, the liberals, and the denominationalists. We need to obey Jesus' commandments, worship Him.
