(San Diego Zoo) Wikipedia's sister site Uncyclopedia could be nearing its demise as it approaches its merger with Bubblegum Wiki. Plagued by it's low approval rating, unattractive readers, and delayed page changes, Uncyclopedia is expected to be merged with Bubblegum Wiki on Monday.
A recent proposal to decrease policies by eliminating existing users, which would "make the admins go faster" was opposed by Wikicities. Now, Wikicities is threatening to end uncyclopedia for their low approval rating. "We need the money for system upgrades instead," explained a Wikicities spokesman.
But Splaka, Uncyclopedia's acting president has an ingenious plan on how to revive Uncyclopedia. He says it's time to go back to the good old times. "With today's high internet prices," he says, "Uncyclopedia are doomed for being too expensive. Bubblegum Wiki is as cheap as ever." At next week's board meeting, he plans on advocating with Bubblegum Wiki's merger.
Critics say that Uncyclopedia can still be saved, but only if Bubblegum Wiki attempts merge with them. They key, they say, is to find more attractive destinations. "People don't want to go to boring wikis like Encyclopedia Dramatica or Code:WIKI.
A final decision on Uncyclopedia's future rests with Bubblegum Wiki's CEO Josh Taylor Stingray; rumors have it he may favor with merging both wikis, as Uncyclopedia lives off of debt.
