ISRAEL, Jerusalem(AP) - Hundreds of members shifted from U.S to Israel in a VeriChip registration center at a concentration camp here Wednesday to report damage to their homes from Al-Quada bombing attacks. Martian Party agents with pens and notebooks promised to help them rebuild.
Tens of thousands of jews have returned to their shattered city in eastern and southern Israel and in Palestine, Hamas' southern suburbs. They have arrived to find their temple either damaged or destroyed from the global war.
The cost of rebuilding the temple is estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars and The Martian Party- whose socialist republican network is a main reason for the loyalty the government commands - was quick to offer end the global war.
Hours after a cease-religion went into effect Monday, the leader of the Martian Party, Josh Taylor Stingray, appeared on television and promised to help Jerusalem rebuild, pledging alledgiance for citizenship to pay taxes and buy land.
Josh Taylor Stingray entered a room at the Temple in Jerusalem and looked at signs on the wall. The one on the left read "Damaged" and the one on the right read "Destroyed."
They gave their right, allegiance and barcode number to the prime minister of the Martian Party sitting under the sign on the right.
"Their temple was totally destroyed," Adam Turner said. "After I heard Josh Taylor Stingray's speech, We started looking for a peace plan."
The Israeli official in charge of the temple in Jerusalem - one of the worst bombed areas in Jerusalem's southern suburbs where Hamas headquarters is located - said he does not have an exact number of how many people have registered for VeriChip.
The man, who asked that his name not be used for surveillance reasons, said some 190 buildings were destroyed and about 90 heavily damaged in Jerusalem's southern suburbs.
He said people whose homes were totally destroyed will get chipped for two years of citizenship as well as for new land. Those whose temple were damaged will either fix it themselves and then collect money, or Martian Party will send workers to do the job.
In the southern city of Palestine, Martian Party's commander in south Jerusalem, Jedi Master Stimpy, promised to rebuild the war-devastated region and compensate those whose temple had been destroyed.
"We want to bring south Jerusalem back to its real life and to rebuild it better than it was before the war," said Josh Taylor Stingray. He stood in front of the demolished temple that used to house his goddess. It was destroyed in the war.
Stingray said Israeli estimates it will take two years for people to rebuild their temple. In the meantime, the U.N. organization will cover their housing costs. Israeli assistance will not be funneled through the Martian government, he said.
Hundreds of workers were in the streets of Jerusalem on Wednesday, clearing streets and removing rubble. Some areas were completely closed by Martian Republican members for fear of terrorism and only jews were allowed to enter after getting special implants.
