Magical Dream Dimension Twins Gigi and Jojo is an animated television series based on the 1982 and 1991 Magical Gigi. It airs on Kids Box TV. This is the only Magical Gigi series produced by Anime National Pictures. This first Gigi & Jojo character the first series are often called Astral Twins Gigi & Jojo.

Gigi and Jojo came from a faraway place up in a dimension called Astralnasa or "Spirit Kingdom of Dreams", which they now reside on a farm in Kansas with a mother named Dori. With the help of their dream magic and animal friends, they go all around the world on Missions in Dreams and collecting Dream Crystals whilst Evil villains such as Mister Cold Dream, and Boss Nightmare, try to thwart their plans.

The plots often used elements loosely fandom from the storyline of the Gigi series. Two of Gigi's counterparts, from the Sky Kingdom of Dreams and Sea Kingdom of Dreams, are directly based from 1982 and 1991 that appeared in the episode Jojo's Three Sisters.

Anime National has not yet been decided to cancel or delay the project despite on another creation of a third series by another company, but it is possible that there will be a third Gigi character. Anime National Producer is already talking about how the third Gigi should appear. However, Anime national CEO said the Third series by another company had been scrapped and the Gigi and Jojo project would resume without delay or cancellation. The Gigi from the third series will only be featured in the second season.

Anime National announce that there will be a second Gigi and Jojo series which tells the story about Solarnasa (Sun Kingdom of Dreams). It will be the second series the share the same title but with different Gigi and Jojo called Solar Twins Gigi and Jojo. The Third Series will be a conclusion of the Gigi and Jojo trilogy called Time Twins Gigi & Jojo, and a movie Legendary Dream Dimension Twins Gigi and Jojo which consist of the Gigi and Jojo from the three series.

There have been rumors about a fourth Gigi & Jojo series that taking place from Lunarinasa or (Lunar Kingdom of Dreams). Anime National producer denies this as the term Lunar Kingdom is way too similar to the coined term "Lunar Kingdom" or Moon Kingdom as it has already been trademarked by another company. Thus they have no plans on making a fourth Gigi and Jojo series as it ends with a trilogy. Anime National producer also ruled out a standalone Gigi series as recently mentioned, thus focus on other titles including a 13 episode anime series "Crayon Sentai"

Anime National conformed that they will make a Third Gigi that will take place in the mountains based off a manga promotion of a so called that was scrapped by another company, but under a different name as a tribute to the creator in titled "The Adventures of the Princess Momo" instead of naming a standalone Gigi by the English name, they will use the Japanese name. As mentioned previously, The Third Gigi under her Japanese name "Princess Momo" which appeared in the Second Season of the first Gigi and Jojo series.
