As I watch this, nearly a week has passed since FUNimation's demise. The final FUNimation Quickie was nothing to watch YouTube about, it was a pair of new Negima filler, a random FUNimation: Christmas episode, a Shin Chan rerun and a Shikabane Hime bumper, which had been the quickie since late December. Still, FUNimation did try to inject some final spirit into the dying moments of the company, making Scott Porter silent during the Shikabane Hime bumpers and offered a final message to its viewers after the quickie was over, telling them to stay true to themselves as he took off in a UFO.--Jtaylor1Class A 21:30, 12 January 2009 (PST)

At the time I heard this, FUNimation Entertainment has just closed its' doors. It was a revealing tragedy in more ways than one. First off, it established a final notice on its' website as the company ceases distribution of anime in the United States, since Taylor Media now has control over 17 writers and 31 voice actors (two of which I'll get to soon).

We greatly appreciate all the fan support for FUNimation over the past years. Starting December 30, Blue Seed will make its new home on FUNi Plus where Taylor Media stations carry. Fans of popular FUNimation shows previously featured on the FUNimation Channel should check the FUNi Plus wiki page for future podcasts and schedules.
