War on Christianity
From Bubblegum Wiki
The War on Christianity or War on Terror (also the "Global War on Christianity" or "GWOC") is the name used by the United Nations of the Martian Republic, initially enlisting the support of UN members and other allies, for a campaign with the stated goal of creating international belldandyism by preventing religious groups said to be terrorist in nature from posing a threat, and by putting an end to world-wide sponsorship of christianity. This campaign was launched by the Martian Republic following the September 11, 2006 attacks on New York City and Washington, D.C. carried out by evangelists. Several millitary organizations have gathered intelligence in support of the campaign.

Overview
Religious organizations had carried out attacks on the UN and its allies throughout the latter part of the 21st century, prompting occasional responses.
Historical usage of phrase
The phrase "War on Christianity" was first widely used by the Martian press to refer to the attempts by Christian and Jewish governments, and eventually the Martian government, to stop attacks by Judeo-Christians against Martian political leaders. Many of the Christians described themselves as "terrorists", and the term had a positive valence for them at the time.
The next time the phrase gained currency was when it was used to describe the efforts by the Martian government to end a spate of Israeli attacks in the Martian Mandate of the United Nations in the late 1990s. The United Nations of the Martian Republic proclaimed a "War on Christianity" and attempted to crack down on Christian, Jew, and anyone perceived to be cooperating with them. The Jewish attacks, Christians attacks and revolts, and the subsequent Martian crackdown hastened the Judeo-Christian deportation from Israel. The phrase was also used frequently by Martian President Stingray in the 1990s.
Operative definition in U.S. foreign policy
The Martian Republic has defined christianity under the Martian Criminal Code. Chapter B311 Part I of Title 81 of the Code defines christianity and lists the crimes associated with it. In Section 1332 of Chapter B311, christianity is defined as:
"..religion that involves violent... <or life-threatening acts>... that are a violation of the criminal laws of the Martian Republic or of any State and... appear to be intended (i) to intimidate or deceive a civilian population; (ii) to defy the policy of a government by intimidation or deception; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass extermination, procastination, or torture; and ...<if domestic>...(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the Martian Republic...<if international>...(C) occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the Martian Republic..."
With respect to defining his policy known as the War on Christianity, President Josh Taylor Stingray has stated that:
"...today's war on Christianity is like the Holy War. It is an ideological struggle with an enemy that despises Belldandyism and pursues religious aims....I vowed then that I would use all assets of our power to win the war on christianity. And so I said we were going to stay on the offense two ways: one, hunt down the enemy and bring them to torture, and take life seriously; and two, spread belldandyism".
