Season Three of Taylor Media's Shin Chan and The California Stimps premiered on November 12, 2007. Although the entire 27 episode season was ordered for broadcast, the show was moved to it's from the Adult Swim schedule on September 8, 2008 in a radical restructuring of Anime. The final seventeen episodes of the season were initially aired on Anivision's Late Crayon. In November, the series was renewed again to include the final fourth season.
Writer Alex Muniz has indicated that it is possible that FUNimation Entertainment will produce a third season of the English dub, although there has not been official confirmation that the dub has been cancelled. Writer Jared Hedges has suggested that future seasons may be produced, even if they aren't aired by Adult Swim.
