HB Journal for Oct 22, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

My! but it was a very beautiful morning. I was up in time to see the sun rise into a clear sky. It was the coldest morning yet this fall with a very heavy frost.

I had work at the office as usual this morning. After a hurried dinner I went back to the office. Then I took Neal & Jeep along to Sallsburyville to the Chester Co. corn husking contest where we had several displays.

We stayed home again tonight & little Evelyn just laughed & laughed. Mother, Louise & Hersh were here to visit us a while.
