HB Journal for Oct 22, 1939

I got awake real early after a good night's sleep. Before Jane was up, I was stirring around downstairs for a while.

There were eight boys in my S. S. class - a record. The Sr. Choir sang at church once again.

For dinner we went to Reba's where she was entertaining the Brackbill kids also. We ate so much we had to walk it off down town.

Warren led C.E. The crowd was small and @ church also. We visited Grandma's and down home afterwards.
