HB Journal for May 2, 1939

From Brackbillwiki

Going back to the mill was not a hard task this morning for a lusty summer sun shed abroad all kinds of good cheer and radiance. We were not terrible busy in the feed dept. and so I put most of the afternoon in repairing the dust collector.

I got some ice before I went home for supper and after supper made a can of grape nut ice cream.

Jane brought some people here for board meeting. Many members were absent for various reasons, not too good, but we had a meeting & transacted all our C.E. business. We had icecream, a small mouse, an excuse to "hug" Jane, and a veiled moon.
