Washday, but we didn't wash. It was a miserable day and continued cold and damp and rainy. We made a little fire in our furnace to make the house a little better.

At work, we were busier for a change. Harold was back and it was like old times.

We finished up the rooster for supper then we sat around and listened to the radio, played checkers & some slept.

We borrowed our neighbor's coal oil heater & brought the temperature up where it belonged. We retired slowly as we always do.
