HB Journal for Aug 27, 1940
From Brackbillwiki
It was cold and raining again this morning, but--the washing had to be done and so the girls got at it and hung it in the attic.
The rainy weather brought lots of trade to Arthur S. Young Co. Inc. We were busy all day.
After supper our guests and helpers prepared to leave us. I went down to the office again and filled in.
Daddy and Everett got home from the Fair. Red & Arvella came and visited us a while. We then headed for bed.
