Sacred Altar of Divine Power

The Sacred Altar of Divine Power is an altar in northern Heaven. Its primary use is the ascension rite Magres Xerfal, which allows angels to greatly increase their power and become largely immune to death.

The altar is surrounded by torches, and houses a silver chalice in the center. Behind the altar are multi-tiered bleachers held up by pillars, not unlike a small coliseum; it can be presumed that Magres Xerfal was considered a major event upon its invention, and one worthy of observation. However, these seats also provide cover for any entities that wish to ruin the ritual by hiding and attacking during the final phases.
