Urobrontus

Urobrontus is the Warrior of Thunder. Perhaps the least powerful of the Sons of Plunder, Urobrontus has been dead for several millennia, his energy trapped inside Lucifer's pendant.

History

Approximately 8 millennia ago, the Archangels were charged with creating new Guardians of the Gate, able to battle at full strength regardless of distance from the gates of Heaven. Four of the five archangels (the exception being Azrael) created their own Warrior Angels in accordance with their elemental inclination. Gabriel created Hydrodurus, Michael created Pyrodeus, Raphael created Gisichros, and Uriel created Ventusamplus. This would even the balance of power from a strong advantage for Hell to a level playing field. However, Lucifer refused to allow Heaven such an advantage. He created five Sons of Plunder, enhanced Demonic Warlords, to destroy the Warrior Angels: Asteocasus, Ruentomors, Iterophasmos, Urobrontus, and Scelumetus. However, Lucifer was unaware that God had created four additional Warrior Angels: Cryodivus, Fulminerus, Silexops, and Aurumagnus. The Sons of Plunder were stronger pound for pound than the Warrior Angels; however, there were eight Warrior Angels to the five Sons of Plunder. Urobrontus was incapacitated by a barrage of lightning bolts summoned by Fulminerus; unable to defend himself, an arrow from Fulminerus' bow struck his head, killing him.

Weapons, Powers and Abilities

Urobrontus can create and manipulate sound waves, allowing him to add shock waves of energy to his attacks. However, his abilities can be hindered by two Warrior Angels. Thunderclaps naturally attach to bolts of lightning; Fulminerus' unnatural, silent lightning absorbs Urobrontus' thunderclaps. Also, sound waves require air to travel through, allowing Ventusamplus to slow down or stop completely any sonic amplification caused by Urobrontus.
