Fulminerus is the Angel of Lightning. One of the eight Warrior Angels, Fulminerus has been dead for several millennia; however, his seal and weapon remain, allowing for a possible resurrection or reincarnation.

History

Warning: Spoilers below.

Approximately 8 millennia ago, the Archangels were charged with creating new Guardians of the Gate, able to battle at full strength regardless of distance from the gates of Heaven. Four of the five archangels (the exception being Azrael) created their own Warrior Angels in accordance with their elemental inclination. Gabriel created Hydrodurus (Angel of Water), Michael created Pyrodeus (Angel of Fire), Raphael created Gisichros (Angel of Earth), and Uriel created Ventusamplus, the Angel of Wind. This would even the balance of power from a strong advantage for Hell to a level playing field. However, God desired the balance to be tipped in Heaven's favor. He created four additional Warrior Angels of his own volition: Cryodivus (Angel of Ice), Fulminerus (Angel of Lightning), Silexops (Angel of Stone), and Aurumagnus (Angel of Gold). Fulminerus was killed by a fatal transfer of divine energy during a failed attempt at [Magres Xerfal].

Weapons, Powers and Abilities

Fulminerus has nearly limitless abilities of manipulation of lightning, or electric currents in general. He can form lightning into cages, weapons, or simply turn his body into an electric bomb, sending bursts of energy in all directions.

He is able to summon thunderclouds at will, and the lightning bolts therein. He can send a bolt of lightning directly at an enemy, or absorb it himself. He is also able to pour his energy into an ally, recharging them at the expense of his own power.

Fulminerus has a golden bow, which he can collapse into a 6-inch piece of metal. When extended, Fulminerus supplies both string and an endless supply of arrows by forming them out of electricity. His electric arrows can fly as far as he can see, and are deadly accurate, unaffected by wind or gravity.
