Silexops is the Angel of Stone. One of the eight Warrior Angels, Silexops has been dead for several millennia; however, his seal and weapon remain, allowing for a possible resurrection or reincarnation.

History

Approximately 8 millennia ago, the Archangels were charged with creating new Guardians of the Gate, able to battle at full strength regardless of distance from the gates of Heaven. Four of the five archangels (the exception being Azrael) created their own Warrior Angels in accordance with their elemental inclination. Gabriel created Hydrodurus (Angel of Water), Michael created Pyrodeus (Angel of Fire), Raphael created Gisichros (Angel of Earth), and Uriel created Ventusamplus, the Angel of Wind. This would even the balance of power from a strong advantage for Hell to a level playing field. However, God desired the balance to be tipped in Heaven's favor. He created four additional Warrior Angels of his own volition: Cryodivus (Angel of Ice), Fulminerus (Angel of Lightning), Silexops (Angel of Stone), and Aurumagnus (Angel of Gold). Silexops took his own life in the battle with the Sons of Plunder, destroying Iterophasmos (who had possessed his body) in the process.

Weapons, Powers and Abilities

Silexops has nearly limitless abilities of stone manipulation. He has near-angelic level reflexes, endurance of pain and temperature well beyond angelic-level, and cosmic-level strength.

He is able to use his abilities of stone manipulation to change the size and composition of his body, the most notable example being increasing his hands to several times their original size - allowing him to wrap them around an enemy and crush them to death.

Silexops wields a 3,000-pound hammer, which he is able to wield as if it were a toy. He is able to throw it astonishing distances with pinpoint accuracy, destroying most everything in its path.
