Old-Timey The Yoshi Bodyguards is a low-budgeted show which from the olden days. It's in black and white with staticy sound and etc. etc.. The director is Mel.
They were located in an old studio vault, and no one is sure where it came from due to the YB not having existed back then. The show was not known to be broadcast anywhere. No one is allowed to watch the episodes without clearance from Site Command.
Plot
The plot is similar to the Yoshi Bodyguards, and makes as much sense as the original RP continual plot-wise (that is, everything is contradicted). There's no action. Some scenes are missing.
There some arcs that made it different from the RP, namely nothing. In the Dim Ages, Varfudor tied up Princess Yoshiler on some traintracks. The next scene is missing, and then in the next scene everything is fine.
Difference between Old-Timey and RP
- Most of the outfits the characters wore are much simpler
- Chibi has a bow on her head. And for some reason wears a skirt.
- Pokemon look like they did in R/B.
- The stories have sightly immature themes and tones, but has some references to world events and whatnot.
- Fawful is less evil and more zany.
- Most female characters have a flower or bow on their head and wear a skirt for some reason.
- When Top's thinking, the art style shifts to look like paper cut-outs drawn with crayons because that's all they had in the budget.
- The Clone Army doesn't appear.
- It's Black and White.
- Jet Gundam's Old-Timey counterpart is a propeller plane that can't tranform.
- Before the intro of each episode, an announcer announces an ad and then lists the characters.
- Sneezier and Dr. Tyrato might exist. Dr. Tyrato probably wears a bucket on his head or something.
