The Temporal Uplink has a variety of purposes. It made its debut in TimeSplitters 2 as a small computer that contained a radar and a map. It also had the ability to play the game cartridges. In TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, the Temporal Uplink changed design to become wrist attached, and it gained the ability to pick up objects and throw switches remotely as well as project a mini map with secondary fire.
