I got Timesplitters 2 more by accident really. I was at a store to buy some games and needed four games to get a special sale. I grabbed Timespliters 2 thinking it was a dumb game. About a week after getting it I looked at the back of it and realized it had a mapmaker. I tried the game and soon became obsessed with it. It's also the only game me and my sister play together.
I love the mapmaker function and often make a series of maps known by me as "Tomb" where I use Crypt Zombie as mummies and create a maze of dark tunnels using victorian tileset. It is really rather fun to play on dispite the frusteration of a good maze. If you have any mapmaker ideas or maps please email an overveiw of what you have in mind to me. I will return ideas if you wish.
I now own TSFP. I have already beaten the game in less than two days:)
