Legend of the Infinite Empire 11
“Into the Flames”

The Smoke cleared the landing pad as YY398 and Xzelion fired repeatedly into the smoke. The enemy forces were advancing to take down the ‘Shroom Army’s Air Force Base. Xzelion tossed aside his empty Machine Gun and upholstered his pistol. He fire again and again at the incoming enemies. Meanwhile YY398 was using his father’s 5A Shotgun. He blasted the shrapnel splinter penetrating the enemies’ armor. The two hid behind several large crates that shielded them from the incoming enemy fire. Xzelion looked at YY and mouthed “Cheese, three” calling for an explosive solution. The enemies were crossing a bridge to attack the Base. YY pulled out a large cannon and placed it, in the center of the bridge was a truck carrying an explosive shipment. He carefully aimed and opened fire. The cannon hit directly at the target exploding, the bridge caved in leaving a huge hole in it. The remaining ‘Shroom Troops rushed in and cleaned up the rest of the enemies.

YellowYoshi398 and Xzelion shared their views of the battle together. While Parayoshi and YoshiFan went on to do their own business. Xzelion and YY shared a slight chatter, “That was a nice shot YY” Xzelion commented.
YY blushed, “Thanks General, I try my best”
Xzelion nodded, “And You sir, succeed”
Xzelion spun on his heels and walked away.

Revan smiled as the trio of plumbers charged at him, his black blade swirled with energy as he charged at the plumbers. He swung his bigger blade and sliced SPL across the chest, then he spun his shoto and cut Mario97’s suit. The two plumbers backed down, Plumber charged at him, Revan using telekinesis tripped the unruly plumber. Revan turned and saw the Brothers (SPL and 97) charging at him. He leaped over the rush of plumbers and sliced there backs. Blood oozing out, the two plumbers refused to stand down. They charged again. Revan using his powers swept 97 off his feet and hurdiling to the lake below. SPL despite his brothers certain death charged at Revan. Revan held his ground and sliced SPL’s arm, he then tossed him too off the mountain into the river below. Plumber stood to his feet, staring down the Sith Lord. Revan smiled, “Do you wish to die as well…Plumber?”
Plumber cocked a smile, “Prepare to die.”
Revan nodded, “Come and try foolish plumber.”
Plumber charged at Revan, Revan leaped over Plumber. Landing behind him, and grabbed him by his overalls and tossed him into a rock. Plumber got up, his face bleeding yet he refused to retreat. His sister needed him. He charged again, Revan prepared for the attack and dropped to his knees, using his strength he flipped Plumber over. He grabbed the weary Plumber and tossed him. Plumber in thin air, nearly unconscious was cut by Revan’s blades. Plumber landed face first, bleeding and unconscious. Revan grabbed him and dragged him back to base.

Isyou leaped back dodging Valak’s swirling blades, the Big Bandit was tough, Isyou tried to spot his weakness. And there it was…When Valak twirled his blades he left himself wide open to a projectile attack. He grinned and waited for Valak to try it again, Valak twirled his blades, both scratching the ground and causing friction. He cocked his arm back and through his knife. Bull’s-eye, right in the chest. Valak dropped to his knees. His blades fell to the ground, he pulled out his comlink, “This is Valak…intruder allllert….fire…canno…NOW!”
Isyou picked up the two blades and sliced Valak’s head off.
Isyou pulled out his comlink, “3dejong, Max2, Aipom hurry get to the control center the cannon is gonna fire soon!”

3dejong leaped back, 2dejong was good…real good. The inverted 3dejong leaped at him his hammer ready. It whacked 3dejong off his feet as he feel to the ground. The Inverted from of himself lifted his hammer…and disappeared. Max2 stood to his feet Max3 has disappeared as well. The two friends looked at each other and hurried up the stairs when their comlinks rang, It was Isyou’s voice , “3dejong, Max2, Aipom hurry get to the control center the cannon is gonna fire soon!”

Aipom was knocked off the wall by Ambipom, Ambipom laughed, “You are no match for me…I have evolved!”
Aipom’s smile grew larger, he leaped at Ambipom the two collided, Aipom tied Ambipoms hand to a missile Aipom smiled, “Cya” he said as his grin enlarged
Aipom pressed a button launching a missile, and dragging Ambipom with it. His comlink rang…it was Isyou. , “3dejong, Max2, Aipom hurry get to the control center the cannon is gonna fire soon!”

Wayoshi shook his head, “Xzelion we just received a comm message from Isyou. The Earthpound’s cannon is going to fire!”
Xzelion’s voice deepened, “Shall we launch the SpecOps?”
Wayoshi stiffened, “Are they ready?”
”Yes sir, we launch on your command.”
Wayoshi loosened, “Fire when ready.”
”What’s the SpecOps?” asked Monty Mole.
”My personally trained Special Operators.” Sounded Xzelion.
Monty laughed, “Then the enemies has no idea what its in for.”

Xzelion cocked his rifle, “YY I need you to come with me.” Commanded Xzelion.
YY nodded and followed Xzelion, “With all due respect sir, where are we going?”
Xzelion climbed in the ship, “Our intelligence reported an enemy Superweapon with the firepower capable of destroying anything it targets.”
YY cocked his shotgun, “Oh…man…that’s not good.”
Xzelion fastened his helmet on, “Our job is to take a the SpecOps in there and rescue our troops there.”
YY nodded, “Alright lets do this.”
The ship lifted off into space, “We’ll meet up with the SpecOps at our base and then we’ll double time it to the Earthpound.” Xzelion continued. “Hope you’re in a shooting mood YY”

Revan tied Plumber next to Beanbean, Plumber badly injured, sneered, “They…will…come”
Revan smiled, “that’s nice” he winked and left the room. <br? ”Brother are you okay?” asked Beanbean.
”Yeah, feel fine…” replied Plumber. “Tell me….why did you dress like…a…man?”
Bean blushed, “That alien…he told me too, he said the enemy believes me to be a Sysop so I must conceal my identity…”
Plumber laughed, “You a Sysop?” he continued laughing till his chest ached to a degree.

The Bacterion Empire’s Cruisers moved in, their heavy cannons fired as the base was being teared apart. Venom smiled, his troops were decimating the ‘Shroom Army’s forces on all levels. Their cannons firing heavily tearing apart the base’s weak shielding. The base was overrun and the Bacterion Empire was victorious.

Xzelion and YY landed the SpecOps landed near them. Xzelion coked his rifle, “YY you take half the team and infiltrate their air vents, come directly at this location” said Xzelion as he pointed to a spot in the main Bridge. “We’ll infiltrate the room directly; we must stop this cannon from firing, at all costs.”

Venom walked in the Steeple his boots clashing with the floor. He slid opened the door to the room where the Prince of Darkness was. The Prince of Darkness concealed his identity well, cloaks covering his body, a hood covering his face. He sat in the room with the leader of the Odnam Militia and the Mars People. The Mars leader stood to his feet, “You’ve brought the Bacterion into this?” He said puzzled.
Venom cocked a smile, “Simply to replace the failures.”
Venom upholstered his pistol and shot the Mars Leader. He crumpled to the ground. Behind Venom snuck up an enemy, he pierced his knife through Venom’s heart…it was Gofer. Gofer’s body changed, his shape-shifting powers revealed Gofer was the leader of the Bacterion Empire.

Isyou rushed down the halls, the base was fully aware of there presence here. 3dejong, Max2, and Aipom moved in. The team meet up in the central room. Isyou sucked up his wits and kicked the door in, the main bridge erupted into a frenzy. The main console was directly across of him. Isyou charged but just then two huge robots dropped in front of him. One knocking Isyou off his feet and crashing into a computer console. The two large robots resembled a Koopatrol. One slightly larger than the other grabbed Isyou around the neck. Its voice sounded like metal screeching, “Fire the cannon!” The android ordered.
It his hand turned into a spear and readied to kill Isyou. When suddenly an explosion sounded. The Koopatrol Android exploded the air vents all exploded revealing 150 SpecOps all fastened on to a cable and opening fire. Isyou caught the spear in the air and tossed it at the main console. And with an explosion the console was destroyed. And with it, the fate of the world had been sealed. Isyou had saved the day.

Xzelion scanned the Bridge, all were killed. Xzelion slipped off his helmet and smiled, “Nice work guys.” He said proudly. “All 300 SpecOps remain alive while the enemy base remains destroyed.”
Xzelion laid his rifle on the side, and pulled out his comlink, it was Wayoshi. “Xzelion we have a situation. Plumber and his group have been captured. Get over ASAP.” Ordered Wayoshi
Xzelion turned off the comlink and cocked his rifle. He spun on his heel and walked back to his ship.

Purple Yoshi Princess of Peach Kingdom strolled down the halls. Here loosely fit crown bobbled with every step she took. An explosion rung she dropped to the floor for safety. Was this the time the prophets spoke of? The fall of Peach Kingdom?

An outraged advisor stormed into the Prince of Darkness’ room.
The advisor’s forehead creased, “The Earthpound has been captured!” The Prince of Darkness smiled, “Good…then all has gone according to plan!”
