Chapter Twelve

“Code Red”

SM97 was barely alive, he was battered and bruised, his body aching. He blinked, he was alive. He didn’t expect that. But what become of his brother, he arose, a small sheet covering him. He rose to his feet; he barely had the strength to do so. He saw someone, from his tent he could make out a figure. A Person, or a Lakitu? No a person, the person was brown haired and was cooking…Waffles. SM97 made a slow approach to the Human-Lakitu-Waffle Lover. The person turned around, a can of “Caffy Cola” in his hand a waffle drizzled with syrup in the other.
”|-||, |’|\\/| 5|\\/|33D3|_” said the Waffle Lover.
SM97 titled his head, “Huh?”
The Waffle lover laughed, “You don’t speak l33t I take it.”
SM97 nodded.
”Well” the Waffle Lover Breathed, “Call me Smiddle”

Plumber was drossy, his body aching, this was not a good idea he reminded himself. Beanbean tied to the seat next to him, the two were silent.
”You didn’t have to do this…” Bean said worriedly
Plumber snorted, “Yes, I did.”

Revan opened the dual Metal doors into the room of the Prince of Darkness; Gofer and The Odnam Militia leaders were there.
Revan smiled, “Ah, so we’re growing”
The Prince of Darkness nodded, “Yes, yes we are.”
Revan took a seat, “What do we do about…’’Him’’”
The Prince of Darkness smiled, “Execute both of them.”
Revan nodded. He then spun on his heels and left.

Xzelion cocked his battle rifle, YY398 was next to him, calm and collective the expert Shotgun user sat besides him, and next to YY sat three SpecOps. Also aboard the vessel was HK-47 the Sysop of Invisibility. Xzelion cocked his rifle and inserted an extra ammo clip into it. YY next tom him was polishing his white armor. The ship was silent, a group of six people against maybe a fortress of soldiers, Not a brilliant idea. Of course, then a loud explosion ruptured, the ship rocked. The Carrier “Ice” was in a free for all fall, the ship smashed into the ground. Xzelion arose the three SpecOps were killed in the crash; it was YY, Hk and him still alive. Xzelion pulled YY (whom was unconscious) out of the ship, Hk behind him. They headed into the forests. Xzelion and Hk along with YY hid behind a large tree. Suddenly Seven Jeep-like vessels drove up the hill.
Xzelion pulled out his battle rifle, “What are those?” He asked Hk
Hk frowned, “No clue he muttered”
YellowYoshi398 stood to his feet, “Ug…What happened?”
Xzelion whispered, “We were shot down,”
YellowYoshi398 nodded, “It hurts too…”
Xzelion turned around, “Lets hurry deeper into the forest, maybe we’ll find something.”

Purple Yoshi hurried down the stairs, her bodyguards came in quite fast, and she was rushed down into the bunker. She could here two guards muttering to each other, “we’re sending a transmission to the ‘Shroom Army, maybe they can help.”
One uttered back, “Doubt they make it in time…”
Purple Yoshi walked up to them, “There’s always hope”

Ultimatetoadette and Ultimatetoad were finally reunited, Fg was across the room, and Arend left. Fg the Mouser paced back and forth across the room. The mouser left the room, and the Ultimate Siblings hugged.

Revan slid open the door, “Grab the plumber.”
The two guards followed suit and did as commanded.
Revan turned around and walked out the door.
Beanbean watched the Sith Lord exit, her palms sweaty, her heart pounding. There was one way to save him, and she knew it. She Wiggled her hands, until part of the cuff slid off, still strapped to the chair, she squirmed to get a hand in her pocket. A small Waffle was in her hand she tossed it one the floor and waited.

Xzelion, Hk, and YellowYoshi398 trekked through the forest, grass knee high, the trees casting a shadow over the group, the smell of burnt rubble. Smoke coming from a single location the destroyed aircraft they came from. Xzelion looked around and whispered, “Guys…come here.”
Hk and YY moved near Xzelion, It was Smiddle and SM97. Smiddle looked like a crazed demon, “Wafflez”
Xzelion looked hesitantly at Smiddle, “SM97, where’s the rest of the group?”
“Incapacitated” Super mario97 said dryly. Xzelion shook his head, “There might be time to rescue Bean.”
Smiddle smiled, “She has waffles, I can lead you there.”
Hk, smiled, “Heh, this is what I look like when I smell cheese.”
YY laughed, “Me too.”

Wayoshi, Monty, and Confused we’re all in a room, confused pulled out a comlink, “Sir there’s something going down, Comm reports Flower Kingdom is being attacked.”
Wayoshi shook his head, “Most of our troops are dispensed, I’ll go”
Monty placed his hand on Wayoshi’s shoulder, “No you won’t…I will”
Monty spun on his heels, “Confused prepare the Xacto, We’re heading out.”

Smiddle took a deep breath, “We can infiltrate their base by accessing an old abandoned mine shaft beneath their base.”
Xzelion cocked his rifle, “Are you sure they don’t know about it?”
Smiddle smiled, “52% Sure”
Xzelion stared at Smiddle, “Well, we’re gonna have to take those odds.”
Smiddle nodded, “I know.”

The mine shaft was damp and dark, a trickle of water splashed against Xzelion’s armor. YY took up the rear, Smiddle was in the front, Xzelion and HK behind him.
Smiddle stopped, “we’re here, we follow this shaft to the room where Beanbean is.”
Xzelion turned, “you guys head that way, There’s something I need to do.”
Hk looked at Xzelion “Good Luck.”
Xzelion cocked his rifle, “Good Luck to you too.”

The Xacto traveled as fast as possible, Zeta Squad, and Parayoshi volunteered to travel with Monty. Monty sat in the fron, arms folded, his blue hair dangled over his face, and his Black Jumpsuit. His black shades and his Pistol holstered to his side. But no firearms where needed for this Iron Sysop, for his powers over the Earth made him a force to be reckoned with. Confused behind watched, the ship traveled as fast as possible for Peach Kingdom would not survive the night without help.

YY caved the door into the holding cell, “Bean” he gasped, “Where’s Plumber?”
Bean looked at him, “They took him. They’re going to execute him!”
YY turned around Hk, “Let go!...HK?”
Smiddle looked at YY, “Where’d Hk go?”

Revan stood over Plumber, Plumber on his knees, blindfolded, and preparing for his final moments… Xzelion rushed down the halls, his Battle Rifle fully charged and cocked, he kicked the door in and opened fire, His bullets nit Revan toppling him over and causing him to smash into the glass room behind him. Xzelion jumped at Revan, and engaging him in a fist fight. Revan jumped back, his hands turned to ice as he shot at Xzelion. One striking him and causing bloodshed. He leaped back and opened fire, Revan with the slight motion of him caused the bullets to freeze in the air and drop to the ground. He smiled and leaped at Xzelion, Revan turned to shadow and appeared behind his brother, he grabbed Xzelion and tossed him into the roof, Xzelion fell to the ground bleeding. Revan grabbed him again and tossed him into the wall.

“Captain we’ll be arriving at Peach Kingdom shortly.” Reported Confused.
”Good” replied Monty.
Confused looked at Monty, “is something wrong sir?”
Monty nodded, “This is my homeland.”

“General Wayoshi!” called the Doctor, “Your advisor is down.”
Wayoshi turned to him, “No…”
”we called into Division they will send another Advisor shortly but….He didn’t make it.”

Xzelion rose to his feet bloodied and battered.
revan moved into for the final blow when he was swept of his feet and hurdling into the wall. Hk stood there, “So you’re the Famous Military Mind…Revan”
Revan rose to his feet, “Sysop of invisibility…HK-47.”
The two stood there motion less staring each other down.
Revan cocked a smiled and unsheathed his sword, “Today, another Sysop falls.”
Hk pulled out his scythe and lowered his hood, “we shall see about that.”
