Amos Yoder was born in Danvers, Illinois on August 16, 1871 to Jonathn and Mary Yoder (from Germany). He was married to Mary Maxwell Yoder and lived in Elmira. It was there he died on July 18, 1945 with his wife reporting the death. He was taken to A.W. Larsen funeral home and buried in Inman Cemetery.
