Downfall/Compromise. Have a drink with Cate, then check on Will

You haven't had a chance to catch up with Cate for a long time. You suppose you get a quick drink or two with Cate and look after Will afterwards.
"Let's go have a drink," you say.
"Hooray. But we have to dress up first."
"Do we have to?"
"Of course. What good is it to have it if you don't show it?"
"If you say so." You return to the cabin.
"I'll have to make room for what's to come," your sister says and goes into the bathroom. You open your wardrobe to see what to wear. Naturally, there aren't many choices; you didn't bring a variety of festive clothes on a cruise into cold weather. You did bring a light blue metallic dress with short sleeves and a generous cleavage. The dress ends half way on your thighs.
You take off your shoes and outer garments, then step into the dress and pull it up to your hips.
"Are you keeping your bra on under this?" Cate's back from the bathroom.
"I intended to. Why?"
"Your dress is so thin, it will press through at the front."
"We're going to be in a bar with bar lights; nobody will notice."
"I will, and I will tease you all evening about it."
"All right, all right." Cate still knows how to press your buttons. Most of the time it's just easier to give in. You reach around your back to open the clasp. Usually you don't have problems opening your bra, but as it is, Murphy's law kicks in. The small hooks won't come undone.
"Let me," Cate says.
"Thanks." You slide your bra off and slip pull your dress up. The upper part clings firmly to your body, the skirt is an A-line and gives you enough legroom. Matching ballet flats you bought only for this dress complete your outfit. You also go for the loo so you won't have to in the bar. Cate is already changed when you come out. She wears a little black dress with thin straps, black tights and black pumps. She spreads her arms and says: " Do we look hot, or do we look hot?"
"Must be the latter, because it sounds better. Lead the way." You follow Cate to a small bar.
"First round is on me. Get a table while I get out drinks," she says, which basically means you'll have to drink what Cate chooses. It's not going to be a non-alcoholic beverage. You pick a table to the side of the bar. It's out of sight of the entrance, passers-by won't be able to leer at you, but you have a good view on everything else inside the bar.
Cate returns with fruity cocktails. She sits down opposite to you and gives you your glass. You salute her without saying a word. The first round you take is always a 'silent round'; nobody is allowed to talk until both finished the first drink. Often enough, you delay finishing the drink to tease your sister a bit (between you, she is the talker), but today, you finish the cocktail at the same time. The evening can begin.
