The crowd continues to oggle your beautiful blue Tiefling body as you hang from the chain. Mutters of praise and shame catch your ear as you do your best to ignore them. You look up at your hand as you open it to reveal a hairpin. Asta has given you a chance to escape this nightmare! You make a mental note to ask the Traveller to bless her as you begin to one-handedly pick the lock on your right wrist.

A few shady-looking people in ragged and patchwork black outfits catch your eye as they keep glancing at you while talking in hushed whispers. Their demeanour seems different than the rest of the curious (and some noticeably turned on) people watching this display. All the more reason for you to hurry your escape.

You feel the lock open with a “click” and rush to pull it off. You turn your back to the crowd as you get to work on the second. With one hand free it is much easier to open this lock. A second “click” announces you freedom. You pull your hand free and rub your wrists briefly before turning back around to look for an escape route.
