Critical Role - Jester - Run Into Nearby Alley Outside Bath House

From Create Your Own Story

You place one of your arms over your chest and the other down below to try and black the crowd’s view of your body. Frantically looking about whilst trying to avoid any eye contact, you notice a small, dark alleyway off to the left. The only problem is that you will need to run past the group of darkly-clad men to get there, and they are already making a move towards you.

Gritting your teeth, you push past your embarrassment and make a full sprint towards the alley, no longer bothering to cover yourself up. This throws off the first two men to reach you and you slip between them before they know what to do. As you reach the third man you Invoke Duplicity and a second naked Jester appears in front of you. Once again your cheeks go red with shame as a few of the crowd whoop and cheer, but it can’t be helped. The momentary confusion of two naked girls, both with heavily bouncing breasts from their sprint, rushing towards him throws off his judement and the man reaches out to grasp the wrist of the illusion. You dart past him on the opposite side and continue to run.

You are only feet away from the alley when the last man blocks your path. He noticed your direction and cut you off. This one is much larger than the others, standing at around 9 foot tall. You try to turn away, but his long reach allows him to lock his hand around your upper arm, squeezing painfully tight to stop your escape. You let out an agonized yelp and send a blast of cold energy towards him with your Hellish Rebuke. He is knocked backwards for a moment and releases his grasp, unsure of what happened.

You don’t waste any time in rushing into the alley. The sound of arguing voices comes from behind you, along with heavy footfalls as the group pursues you. You can see the path split into two up ahead. You have no idea where you are going and the wrong path could lead to you being caught.

Which path do you choose?
