Call the police and tell them what happened.

From Create Your Own Story

You feel the best thing to do is still to confess and tell your side of the story to the police first. After much hesitation, you nervously picked up the phone and dialed 911.

"Hello, local police department. Please state the nature of your emergency." A woman's voice came on the phone.

"I...umm...I want to report a crime." You stammered. "Well...actually, more like a double crime..."

"Okay, go ahead please."

As you spilled your guts, you can hear the woman on the other side scribbling down your statement.

"And...that's pretty much it." As you concluded your confession, there was a momentary silence on the other side. Then you could hear a muffled conversation between the woman and another man close by.

"I think I understand your situation, thank you for reporting this incident." The woman responded to you without much change in her tone. "I just relayed your matter to our department chief. We believes there is something we can work out. Please come down to the station."

"Yes, yes, ma'am." As you hang up the phone, there is a doubt that lingered. Can you trust the police?

Duh, they're the police. Head down to the station right away.

Run away and change your identity.
