You get dressed and head downstairs. You sister is sitting in the living room, already dressed and up. As you walk by she notices you.
"Where ya going?" she asked
You and Melody had always been pretty close, and she wasn't too annoying, so you didn't try and hide it from her.
"Headed to the mall."
"Cool, mind if I join you?"
"Uh, sure."
She quickly tells your mom where you're going, then grabs a jacket as you walk outside with her.
"So, which way do we want to go?" she asked. "There's some construction the normal way, so that would slow us down, or we could take the shortcut through the backstreets."
