"Well," she says slowly and with a tone that sounds like she's about to deliver bad news, "your girlfriend here-"
"She's not my girlfriend," you say.
"Sorry. Regardless, she's going to live. She's not going to live long if we don't have antibiotics. With no facilities to clean ourselves and without supplies to keep her wounds as clean as we should, she's going to get an infection." She shrugs. "Unless you have some sort of antibiotics, this isn't going to end well."
"There's a pharmacy not three blocks from here. I could get the antibiotics, if you told me what to look for."
She shrugs. "I'm not going to ask you to go back out there. That's up to you."
