When the GWA and 2KW World Championships broke off into their own, Reaper ([[William Black]]) achieved the 2KW Title in a Battle Royal and aligned himself with The Elite. The Elite is a backyard wrestling heel stable in 2KW which consists of leader Kris Kage, SyNN, William Black, Joe Bullrog, Whiplash and Statik, and is usually accompanied by ToXXSyNN who manages SyNN. The group was originally birthed in 2001 during 2KW's alliance with the GWA federation.

There have been different versions of the stable since its original incarnation. The Elite currently focuses on the empowerment of holding all championships as the "Gold Edition" (although with SyNN as an original member, he is not a title holder).
