Xaruum is a small, walled city north of Zoa. The city requires that all commerce take place using Xaruum currency, minted by the city's government. City moneychangers can exchange coin for travelers.

In Kingdoms of Kalamar (gmtarondor)
The heroes came to Xaruum in search of a pint of devil's blood and a coward to spill it, hoping to deliver the esoteric liquid to Geolane to use as a reagent for the crafting of his magical coin. (See the Quest of the Coin.)
