Coris

From Zok

Coris is the eldest son of Uraine and Monsos. It was he who crafted the Skyweb, and it is he and his myriad children who maintain it to this day. Coris is one of the most vocal proponents of civilization, and much of his time is spent subtly teaching the inhabitants of the world how to build. Coris constructed Vornik's fortress in the depths of Pnugul, and in gratitude the dark god gave him dominion over spiders, who already built elaborate traps to catch their prey even in those times. Coris is unconcerned with who is building or what they're building, so long as more complex and functionally beautiful things are made from simple materials. He is one of the gods the Neogi claim as their patron, though he never intervenes on their behalf unless a treasured monument might be harmed, and it is in their emulation of his constant journeys along the strands of the Skyweb that they learned to traverse the void between worlds. Many gnomes are also attracted to his worship (though they interpet it in a vastly different way), taking joy in the act and the art of creation.
