She has few temples except in the lands of Nightmare, and those are small and filled with madmen and twisted pieces of fiendish sculpture. Kiana is twin to Subri, the dark side of that silver coin. She and her sister live in the lands of Dream, where they formed from the mists as the other gods slept. Kiana was born of the nightmares of the gods. After her formation, all the gods refused to sleep out of sheer terror until Rin made his pact with Subri and convinced Kiana to serve Hirzek as his consort and depart the land of dreams (Gulzek and Anata still refrain from sleep, as do all of their people). The only deity who did not know fear, Hirzek was delighted at the chance to become intimately aquainted with the combined fears of his fellows, and he and Kiana have spawned countless horrors in the depths of the Pale Mountain.
