Wargutz is the Ork Warboss of the largest Ork WAAGH in the known universe. Wargutz controls Wargutz's Orky WAAGH in a crusade against every army in the universe, with very limited success. He is random and violent, and has an obsession with taking the heads of the people he slays. Wargutz fights only for fun, and follows on the coattails of battles in order to get in the biggest engagements he can.

History

Rise of the WAAGH

Wargutz was born on Finichia under the Headsmasha Klan of Orks, durring a failed WAAGH of the Lylat system in the late 1950s, which was easily put down my Corneria Forces. Wargutz's Warboss lead them to the icy planet of Finichia, where the flexable Orks survived, living in the cold areas where normal beings could not. The WAAGH remnants began to form Klans of their own, warring amongst themselves. Wargutz was part of this infighting, battling both fellow Ork and Cornerian forces who would occasionally send strike teams and bounty hunters after the Orks. Through these battles, he suffered massive injured, which caused many parts of his body to be replaced with augmented parts, such as his massive claw, ingrained bolter gun, and body armor welded into his skin.

Eventually, in mid 2007, Wargutz got his chance at the role of leadership when the Yoshi Bodyguards and Metal Army attacked, looking for the Titan Dominatris in The Wrath of the Titan. Wargutz rallied the fighting clans under his banner, and became the Warboss. Wargutz then set out to take on the invaders. In a turn of events, however, Wargutz ended up helping the Metal Army for a battle, though the two turned on eachother, Wargutz swearing to destroy the Titan, as he had no use for it.

Wargutz's WAAGH laid siege of the Yoshi Bodyguards guarding the Titan, but the Necrons arose around it, destroying the Ork forces. Wargutz lead what remained and escaped the planet using crashed ships from the battle. He then set out on a WAAGH across the stars.

The Metal Wars

Though not the only WAAGH in the universe, Wargutz played a major factor in the Metal Wars. He had managed to salvage broken battleships from different factions, and created a fleet of massive Space Hulks, used to crash into planets and invade their populace. Wargutz's WAAGH served in the High Rim and Lower Stream Campaigns, in some instances beating back both Metal and Federation forces from a planet and taking it for his own.

Wargutz's luck turned sour on Chronis, where he arrived as the third invading army, smashing his Space Hulk into the planet's surface, and awakening the Necrons. The Warboss was defeated when the Iron Legion sent a strike force to destroy the WAAGH, while and SWD strike team came in to clear the way by killing Wargutz. Wargutz, in a last ditch effort, detonated the Space Hulk's core, destroying the attacking Metal Army, as well as most of his WAAGH. But Wargutz lived to fight another day, escaping through a series of tunnels.

Wargutz lived on to bring a small Space Hulk into the Cloud's dimension, crashing into a mimic of Hylia's Woodfall Swamp. He was defeated by the Metal Army, and rocketed off to find another faction. He never did find any allies, and was warped away when the dimension collapsed.

Later, Wargutz had a stream of good luck, raking world after world claimed by the Metal Army immediately after they had been taken from the Federation. This not only damaged the Metal Army infrastructure, but provided enough supplies for a great WAAGH on Mekkai. He took the biggest space hulk he could find, made from a YSS Windfish and several other capitol ships, and loaded as many Elite Orks as he could on it, and busted through the Alliance and Metal Fleets, landing on Mekkai.

At first, the WAAGH was a success. Millions of Orks flooded the planet, overwhelming the Metal army defenders as well as the Alliance of Worlds Attackers. The Alliance of Worlds used this to their advantage, and steered the Orks to specific targets. Wargutz himself attempted to storm the palace, leaving his crashed space hulk open for attack. When the Titan Dominatris came to Mekkai, it destroyed the space hulk. After his boyz got crushed, Wargutz used a Weirdboy to teleport away. His Ork clans still remain scattered on the surface of Mekkai to this day, using the Metal Army technologies to solidify their hold, and have caused no end of trouble for the Alliance of Worlds attempting to repopulate the planet.

Present Day

Wargutz is continuing to rebuild his WAAGH from several crushing defeats, though the severe losses suffered in the Metal Wars was too great even for the Orkish race to fully recover from. Due to the slower nature of Ork repopulation set by Celestial Architect tinkering of the genetic stock, it is doubtful there will be any WAAGH like Wargutz in the forseeable future.

Wargutz once was sent a letter by Top that would have brought him bad luck, but Wargutz can't read, so the letter never affected him.

Discrepancies

In the original The Wrath of the Titan, Wargutz was named after the Ork he was based off of, Gorgutz. However, Sub changed the name in order to fit him being in Tick Tack Emissary.

Non-Canon Appearances

Tick Tack Emissary

Wargutz made an appearance in Tick Tack Emissary, serving Count Bleah unknowingly in order to get his boyz into the alternate world. He allied with Darkly, Koogar, and I.M. Ugly in order to take open the rifts that would spill the Orks through. He faced down several Yoshi Bodyguards in a ruined city, losing. He then went against Count Bleah after he figured out he was being tricked.

Personal Information

Personality

Wargutz's broken language makes him seem unintelligent, however, he has a keep tactical mind, and actually has more cunning than most leaders. Wargutz is like most other Orks, violent, bloodthirsty, and obsessed with killing. Unlike other Orks, he has a massive mechanized body with an augmented power claw to crush whoever backtalks him. Wargutz wants only to be the biggest, baddest Warboss there is, and wanders the universe with his WAAGH, looking for the best fights and best kills.

Abilities

Wargutz has a massive power claw, which he uses as his main weapon. He can use it to bash enemies aside, as well as crush them under his iron grip. The claw can also spew fire, due to a resent upgrade. He also has a mounted bolter, which can blast massive rounds through enemy forces, piercing most armor. Wargutz's sheer strength can overcome most opponents, and is rarely bested in battle.

Final Smash: WAAAAGGGGHHH!!

Wargutz summon's his Ork Boyz, who rain down from nowhere, shooting, smashing, stomping, and looting. These boyz are armed with shootas, sluggas (enchanced axes), burnas, and powa claws. The scene ends with a massive Squiggoth trampling everyone.

Family

Wargutz has no "real" family. Orks reproduce by leaving spores on the battlefield after they die, sprouting Grechen, who turn into Orks. Wargutz was spawned from a fallen Ork on Finichia.

Items

Wargutz carries around very little that isn't already attached to his body. He has his shoota and power claw on him, as well as his armor welded to his skin. He carried a WAAGH Pole on his back, showing his WAAGH symbol, and inspiring Orks to fight on. Wargutz also carries around a "pointy stik," which he mounts heads of his killed foes on.

Wargutz usually relies on the stockpiles of "Dakka," or Ork ammunition, in order to keep his WAAGH going.

Residence

Wargutz has no real "home." Orks are nomadic, going from battle to battle. Wargutz is mostly found on the Space Hulks that head his battles, and stays with his boyz when they go into the thick of battle.

Interactions with other Characters

Everyone Not an Ork

Wargutz thinks that everyone is inferior to the great Ork, for they are not green, and do not know how to form a proper WAAGH. He rates these people on how much of a challenge they are. Wargutz holds very little personal grudges, and simply wishes to kill everyone for amusement.

Everyone Orky

Wargutz thinks he's the biggest, baddest Ork there is. Therefore, he leads his WAAGH with impunity. If there is no hummies or non-Orky things to kill, he will just as easily kill his own boyz to satisty his needs. In addition, he sees any Ork tribe or WAAGH not with his as just as bad, if not worse as non-Orks, and will kill them just as soon.

Metal Sneezier

Wargutz dislikes Metal Sneezier, but sees him as a worthy foe. Wargutz is still mad at him for his betrayal on Finichia, and hunts him for his head, which he wants to mount on his boss pole.

Ultra Stuffwell

Wargutz has no cause against Ultra Stuffwell, like Metal Sneezier, but wants him dead simply due to his immense power. He fought against him briefly on Chronis, but has not seen him since.

Trivia

  • Wargutz was based off of Gorgutz from the Dawn of War series. Originally, he was intended to be Gorgutz himself, but Sub changed his name and personality.
  • Wargutz was intended to invade Star World in a different story, but Sub scrapped it after he decided the Metal Wars were more interesting and Star World had been invaded enough.
