a note from MackDaddyYoshi... a nostalgic care-taker of the roleplay Yoshi bodyguards
Though the Yoshi Bodyguards began 6 or more years ago, I remember to this day how much care I took for this community of friends. I write this to you because I stumbled upon the Metroid Wiki on Google, and was flooded with fond memories. If it weren't for YOSHI. the founder of the Yoshi Bodyguards, I would never have played one of my favorite video game franchises: Metroid.
I'm a 20 year old man with no social life, a weak self-esteem, and a shattered spirit... But the epic adventures I wrote for 5 years while I tended to the magnificent Yoshi Bodyguard roleplay will always be in my heart.
Many years ago, when Nsider forums closed down the Role Play section... I vowed to keep the epic story alive. In the eyes of some... I failed that task. And I'm sorry to say that I cannot re-tell the events that took place when I, MackDaddyYoshi, wasn't an active member of the role play.
But some of us stuck together like glue... YOSHI. entrusted the Yoshi Bodyguards with Topmonhit, Chibikirbyness, and I. We formed a hierarchy of dedicated and indebted role players. And the Game & Watch forums were born. We stayed there for many years, and role played some of the most epic Yoshi Bodyguards stories to ever have been told.
Though the Dark Ages and other vital roleplays on Nsider had been extinguished and lost forever... We held together and made history.
I, MackDaddyYoshi, to this day swear to keep the Yoshi Bodyguards roleplay alive. Though most of her members have long since abandoned her; I remain to carry on the torch of heroism that will never fade.
But how will I do this? An idea I came up with during the days of Game & Watch forums rings a bell. I was determined to make a Yoshi Bodyguards Movie that chronicles all the epic stories in the saga of unconquerable warriors.
Though years have passed... I will always remember the Yoshi Bodyguards forever. And I vow to immortalize it's glorious tales.
Nsider Forums... closed its doors on us. Game & Watch Forums... fell victim to hackers' vandalism and a dwindling spirit. Tick Tack Dude Forums... was criticized and abandoned by a weary group of remaining Bodyguard legends.
But as of this moment, I swear. The Yoshi Bodyguards' story will be retold. Or my name isn't Mack Daddy Yoshi, and I would renounce my title as a Yoshi Bodyguard member.
For a start, I will write a Fan Fiction of the Metroid video game series in honor of YOSHI. the founder of the YB. If he hadn't recommended the Metroid Prime series, I wouldn't have fallen in love with my favorite female heroine, Samus Aran.
