Topmonhit Story '09 August Fool's Day Special is the first Topmonhit Story August Fool's Day special. It involves Parnky going around and pranking people that weren't suspecting to be pranked on the last day of August.

Story
At a clothes store, business was slow (as no Kirby creature has legs to wear pants) until Mr. Frosty ran in, having finally realized his pants' bottom was missing. The clerk gave him a pair of pants, but the pair were far too small; the clerk then revealed to be Parnky, exclaiming "AUGUST FOOL'S!" Later, Gooey was going down a path when a nearby phone booth rang. He went to answer it, and the caller said he has the chance to win 20 million pickles. All he had to do is answer one question: "Is your refridgerator running?" Gooey looked out to see Fridge Kirby, answered yes, then Parnky yelled that he should go catch it and "August Fool's"; Gooey realized Kirby was running off, and chased him.
Parnky then walked onto a white screen and explained to the readers the concept of August Fool's Day: Double the fool's per year! Elsewhere, Rick and Chuchu were using one of Chuchu's tentacles as a jump rope, which Pitch was jumping over, when Parnky tickled Rick, causing him to let go of the tentacle, which hit Pitch and slapped him into Chuchu. Chuchu was about to attack Parnky when Coo told her to calm down, but when Parnky gave Coo a gift that exploded all his feathers off, he let Chuchu go at Parnky (who ran off). At King Dedede's Castle, Dedede was sunbathing when a shadow came over him. A single cloud suddenly began to rain, which Dedede ran from, but when Parnky revealed himself with an "August Fool's!" Dedede slammed Parnky away with his hammer.
In the sea, Kine swam around when he saw a Maxim Tomato in the water. He ate it, but was then pulled up on a fishing pole by Parnky with an "August Fool's!" There was then a montage, with Parnky popping out of an empty treasure chest to the Squeak Squad, blowing up Chef Kawasaki's food, making Chameleo Arm plaid, and crashing the Halberd. At the end of the day, he was surrounded by those he had pranked during the day, angry looks on their face. He was about to be attacked when they stopped and exclaimed "AUGUST FOOL'S!" accepting the idea.
Trivia
- August Fool's Day was created as both a way to have two Fool's Days in a year, and also a reference to the "Christmas in July" phenomenon, as well as the fact that there are no nation US Holidays in the month of August.
- The topic title for the part was called "Another Topmonhit Story Special" to conceal what special it was (as there is no normal holiday on August 31st).
- Parnky previously pranked Dedede in Topmonhit Story '09 April Fools Day Special: The King and the Prank.
